Rules

We enforce rules for every player in our Discord and who plays in-game aswell as any Discord server we deem as Modify related, all members are required to follow these rules. Failure to do so may result in a punishment.
Some offences may be punishable even if they happend completly outside of Modify for example doxing, DDoSing and serious harmful threats.

Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

- Read and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- You must be over the age of 13 to use Discord.
- No suggestive material in usernames, @s, profile pictures, bios, or banners.

Follow Minecraft EULA

- Read and follow the Minecraft EULA.
- No pretending to be associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
- No sharing or promoting hacked accounts or cracked Minecraft.
- No suggestive usernames or skins.

Have Common Sense

- No excessive swearing.
- Refrain from discussing religion, politics, race, sexuality, self-harm, or other sensitive subjects.
- Refrain from discussing anything not suitable for people who are 13 years old.
- No doxing or threatening/joking about doxing.
- No DDoSing or threatening/joking about DDoSing.
- No promoting or linking cheat clients or modifications anywhere.
- Do not intentionally provoke, harass, or verbally target other players.

No Hate-Speech or Offensive Language

- No homophobia, racism, sexism, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.
- No slurs, toxicity, or NSFW messages/comments.
- No offensive content, comments, names, profile pictures, or suggestive material anywhere.

No Spamming or Mic Abuse

- Avoid spamming messages, pinging excessively, or clogging the chat.
- This includes soundboards, mic spamming, or ear-damaging sounds.
- Use noise suppression if you have bad background noise.
- Do not intentionally disrupt voice channels.
- Any one with loud background noise may get temporarily muted.

No Advertising or Malicious Links

- No posting advertisements or links unless they are posted in the correct channels in the Discord.
- No posting dangerous or malicious links, such as IP grabbers, crash GIFs, or illegal content anywhere.
- No advertising other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, or services without permission.

No Impersonation

- Do not try to impersonate anyone, regardless of whether they are a part of our community.
- Do not impersonate staff members, content creators, known Minecraft figures, or other players.
- Do not use names, profile pictures, or other identifying information to mislead other players.

In-game Nick Conduct

- Do not use our nick system to bypass server mutes.
- Do not nick as something that can be seen as harassment or targeted towards other members of the server.
- Do not nick as something that is inappropriate, offensive, or intended to deceive other players.
- Do not nick as something that can be seen as impersonating staff members or known Minecraft figures.
- Breaking any of these may result in loss of nick privileges.

Keep Chat in English

- Keep voice chat, in-game chat, and Discord channels in English so that they can be properly moderated.

No Cheating or Exploiting

- No using hacks, cheats, autoclickers/fast XP, or any mod, texture pack, macro, etc. that gives you an unfair advantage.
- No using glitches or exploits to gain an advantage or do something you should not be able to do in the base game.
- No using glitches or exploits that allow you to get places you should not otherwise be able to reach.
- No using glitches or exploits to duplicate items.
- No using mods that give any player glowing or the ability to see players through walls.
- No using ping spoofer mods such as Ping Equalizers.
- If you are unsure whether something is allowed, we recommend to not use it.

No Farming Accounts

- No using alternate accounts or getting other players online for the purpose of gaining kill tokens or kill stats.
- Do not let yourself get killed for the purpose of giving another player kill tokens or boosting player stats.
- Any account found being used to farm kill tokens or stats may be punished.
- Do not intentionally boost another player's statistics.

No Building Inappropriate Structures or Flooding the Map

- No creating anything that is offensive or inappropriate.
- No using water to flood the map or create water casts that cover a large area.
- No building up or creating sky bases near the spawn area.
- Do not intentionally obstruct or damage important areas of the map.

No Unfair Trading

- No IRL trading.
- No wagering or gambling with in-game items.
- No cross trading or outside trading.
- No trading in-game items for ranks.
- In-game items may only be traded for other in-game items.
- Do not scam, deceive, or intentionally mislead players during trades.

Account Sharing

- We recommend that you do not share your account or play on another person's account.
- You are responsible for activity carried out on your account.
- If someone has access to your account, you can be punished for their actions on said account.

Punishment Evading

- Do not use VPNs or proxies to evade a punishment or bypass a restriction.
- If you use alternative accounts while one of them is punished, you may also be punished.
- Attempting to bypass a punishment through another account may result in an extended punishment.
- If someone plays on your account or you play on someone else's account, you may be punished for ban evasion.

No Loopholes or Rule-Bending

- Just because something is not explicitly stated does not mean it is allowed.
- Attempting to exploit loopholes or bend the rules will result in consequences.
- Staff may take action against behaviour that clearly goes against the purpose or spirit of these rules.
- Every punishment is up to the staff's discretion and they can punish for any reason they believe is valid.
